1st Honda Jazz 14 i-Shift ES - currently reading. Having driven 180000 miles in two Honda Jazz 14 i-DSI SE CVT-7 cars each from new I wanted to share my experiences of life with a Honda Jazz 14 i-VTEC SE i-shift.

My 2009 i-Shift with 80k miles broke down this morning. The transmission warning light came on and the car just stalled. It restarted after 2 mins and I tried to engage it to A1 but wasnt happening.
Another 2 mins later it got going but after 5 mins it happened all again coming to. Unfortunately three weeks ago it suffered a breakdown with the actuator. It now has 80k miles.
Honda wanted 2k to fix it but luckily with the help from this forum I found a mechanic to repair it for 320. I would say get a low mileage one if you can. Does anyone have any experience with Honda civic 2007 i -shift gearbox.
Yesterday he rang me saying cars making some noise I went on test drive when the car is in 3rd gear changing to 4rth the rev goes and car shakes maybe a burnt clutch anyways I did scan today if anyone can help to see what they think.
